Parts Inventory Management Lead
As a pivotal team member, the Parts Inventory Management Lead oversees parts inventory management across multiple branches. This role and their direct reports support these branches by managing their parts inventory to increase customer satisfaction, sales, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with corporate product support and branches to establish objectives and ordering plans for parts marketing.
* Work with stakeholders to plan and develop required parts inventory levels at branch and corporate levels.
* Manage multi-store parts inventory according to inventory cycles, ensuring parts needs are met.
* Implement inventory control procedures.
* Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
* Coordinate annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
* Monitor performance relative to inventory management and expense control.
* Optimize parts inventory levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Enforce audit criteria.
* Investigate problem orders, receiving, and inventory issues.
* Manage parts return process.
* Evaluate resource allocation and timeline quality expectations.
Leadership and Supervision:
* Supervise and lead a corporate team of employees.
* Set employee performance goals, review ongoing performance, and address issues as required.
* Ensure employee training requirements are met and coach/train employees in relevant practices/procedures.
* Create/maintain a safe work environment, adhering to occupational health and safety standards.
* Implement/enforce HR policies, procedures, and labor standards.
About You:
We seek a service-driven individual with professional attitude, strong customer service orientation, and sound judgment when dealing with internal/external customers. The ideal candidate will possess:
* Three to five years' experience in parts inventory management.
* Two or more years of direct supervisory experience.
* Able to organize work, set priorities, and achieve objectives/goals.
* Strong leadership ability with effective delegation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written/oral.
* Experience working with inventory management systems.
* Familiarity with various productivity applications.
* Professional designation in supply chain management is an asset.
* Ability to drive/travel locally and internationally if required.
