About the role:
The SEO Specialist role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career by driving strategic and tactical SEO initiatives across a diverse group of businesses. You will be instrumental in enhancing the visibility and performance of IntoWork's online platforms, increasing organic traffic, and improving audience engagement.
Sitting within the Group Marketing and Communications team, and reporting to the Digital Analyst, you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver data-informed, creative, and results-oriented SEO strategies.
As the SEO Specialist, you will:
* Develop and implement SEO strategies to grow organic traffic across all Group websites
* Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content and optimisation
* Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues like broken links and slow page speeds
* Collaborate on high-quality, SEO-optimised content and maintain a content calendar
* Build and manage a portfolio of high-quality backlinks
* Optimise websites for local search and manage business listings
* Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and the impact of AI on search
About you:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
* 2+ years' experience in SEO with a strong track record of results
* Proficiency in keyword research, content optimisation, and SEO tools
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts
* Experience with local SEO and managing business listings
* Familiarity with SEO trends and algorithm updates
* Experience in the not-for-profit or recruitment sector is highly desirable
