About the role
The role is based in Nowra, located on Grand Pacific Health Centre premises. We are offering flexible hours to work on a casual basis. Government funding is to 30 June 2028 with a possibility of ongoing extension.
You will be required to be available outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays to support service delivery. The Service operates from 8:00am-10:00pm, seven days a week. Doctors currently completing Fellowship requirements and close to achieving vocational registration are also welcome to apply.

Duties
* Provide timely, high-quality medical care to patients presenting with acute, non-life-threatening conditions.
* Conduct patient assessments, diagnosing, and initiating appropriate treatment, ensuring effective management of urgent medical needs.
* Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and escalate cases
* Ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care within the healthcare system.
Skills & Experience
1. Current AHPRA Registration without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands
2. Vocational registration as a General Practitioner (FRACGP, FARGP, or FACRRM)
3. Experience working in an Emergency Department, Rural General Practice, or Urgent Care Clinic
4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/ or Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate
