About the role
We are looking for a Full Time Facility, Fleet and Logistics Officer based in Alice Springs to help coordinate the maintenance of our vehicles, buildings and equipment, and assist with logistics in support of operations in Kiwirrkurra.
This role involves organising maintenance work, coordinating contractors, managing fleet records, and helping ensure staff and equipment are in the right place when needed.
The position suits someone who is organised, practical and comfortable working across a range of operational tasks.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of the company's facilities, including buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
* Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance
* Coordinate logistics, such as arranging transport of goods to Kiwirrkurra, keeping inventories of key consumables and assisting with travel arrangements.
* Ensure all facilities, fleet, and logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Provide reports to management on the performance of facilities, fleet, and logistics
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
What we're looking for
* Strong administrative skills, including being organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and maintain good records.
* Significant experience in a similar facilities, fleet, and logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
* Proven ability to develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address issues
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including effective skills and approach to working with people with vastly different cultural perspectives and life experiences.
* Proven ability to work independently and without in-person supervision.
* Relevant qualifications in a related field, such as logistics, operations management, or business administration
