In this role, you will work closely with our industry leaders, developing your knowledge and skill set in complex compliance and consulting tax work.**Key responsibilities:*** Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work* Researching and drafting complex tax letters of advice* Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters* Review of income tax returns and work papers* Review of tax effect accounting calculations* Mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff* Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, including overseeing deliverables, work allocations, deadlines, and budgets**About You*** Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/ mid-tier accounting firm* Completed a CA/CPA qualification or Master of Taxation* Hold a university degree in accounting and/or law (or related disciplines)* Strong client advisory and communication skills* Experienced level of tax compliance background, with a passion about improving your advisory technical expertise and knowledge* Extensive consulting exposure to a range of clients, ideally including cross-border structures, financing arrangements and transactionsWorking for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.
