Nurse Next Door is a premium home care service provider that enables people to live a fulfilling life at home, regardless of age or ability. We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing and care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sector.
Caregiving can include 2 hour minimum daily morning and afternoon visits and up to 10 hour visits with clients.

About the Role
Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience in aged care, disability support, or healthcare settings
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks requiring physical fitness
- Australian Drivers License and reliable car
- Passionate about making a difference
- Rights to work in Australia
- Smart mobile phone
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009 or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification
- AHPRA Registration (where applicable)
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Approval
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- Excellent written and verbal skills
Skills & Experience
- Community caregiving would be an advantage
- Subacute and disability experience
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Care Designer
- Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
- Diabetes management
- Dementia experience would be an advantage
- Leadership experience is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
- Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
- May include: personal care, social support, meal preparation, medication assistance, respite care, domestic assistance, transport to appointments and shopping
