About the Role

Your responsibilities will include providing onsite support, upskilling, and facilitation of incident investigations and risk assessments. You will also partner with operational leaders to deliver the annual H&S plan and improve safety maturity through key objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant health and safety qualification or demonstrated experience working in an operational health and safety role. You must also possess a high level of integrity and values-based decision-making skills.

You will need to be able to work autonomously and have strong engaging and influencing skills. Additionally, you should have excellent computer literacy, including the use of various reporting systems, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Environment

Our Weipa Operations includes three bauxite mines, processing facilities, ship loaders, an export wharf, two ports, power stations, a rail network, and ferry terminals. The operation produces more than 35 million tonnes of bauxite each year.
