We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Carpenter to join a premium South Adelaide builder delivering high-end cabinetry and bespoke joinery projects. This full-time role offers $40–$45 per hour plus super, with performance-based bonus opportunities and clear career progression into workshop leadership. As a Cabinet Maker / Carpenter, you'll be hands-on in a modern workshop, working on luxury kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and commercial fitouts while collaborating with an expert team.
Responsibilities
Fabricating bespoke cabinetry and furniture to exacting standards; interpreting technical drawings and translating client briefs into finished products
Operating woodworking machinery such as routers, saws, and edge banders (CNC not required)
Supporting residential, retail, and commercial fitout projects across South Adelaide
Performing light site carpentry and installation work where required
Assisting with materials ordering and occasional direct client communication
This is a varied position designed for a practical, detail-focused Cabinet Maker / Carpenter who thrives in both workshop and project environments.
Skills and Experience
A trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Carpentry, or Joinery
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in custom cabinetry or joinery production
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
Proficiency with hand tools, woodworking machines, and workshop equipment
A proven eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship
Reliability, adaptability, and the ambition to step into leadership as the workshop evolves
