Crossmuller is an cutting-edge and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our Installation Team based on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
Whilst working within the Installation team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance, Robotics, Electrical Design, Programming and Troubleshooting.
To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:
Relevant trade qualification
A current NSW Driving Licence
Current WHS white card
Able to interpret electrical schematics and controls
Good knowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practices
Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
Industrial and control experience
Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
Be available to travel when required to other locations
Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment and scheduling
Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesman
The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:
Cert IV in Electrotechnology or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Elevated Work Platform Licence
Confined Space
Emergency First Aid / CPR
Working at Heights
Low Voltage Release and Rescue
This is a full-time permanent position within our Installation team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
