Job Title: Key Membership Role

The Head of Membership will oversee and improve all sales and operational functions in the Membership Department. This person will play a critical role in building a unified, sustainable, and trusted football club that competes at high levels.

They will do this by generating maximum profit for the Club while building strong emotional connections with members and supporters.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the Membership Team: Oversee Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Marketing staff; establish team KPIs; support General Manager in team management and work environment.
* Maximise Membership Profit: Develop membership campaigns and plans; pursue additional revenue sources; manage prospect systems; re-engage lapsed members; prepare membership offers.
* Deliver Industry-Leading Consumer Operations: Improve operations systems and processes; manage renewal processes; develop membership insights; implement fulfilment processes; support crowd build initiatives.
* Ensure Best Practice Reporting & Systems: Prepare regular reports on sales activities and campaign effectiveness; innovate systems to support sales and service strategies; develop key reporting requirements.
* Match Day Representation: Provide customer service and operational support on match days; assist with event planning and execution.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Tertiary qualifications in business-related discipline.
* At least five years in operations and/or sales-related role.
* Proven staff management experience and ability to motivate, develop and gather team support.
* Proven negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
* Commitment to customer service and service delivery to clients.
* High level of planning and time management skills and demonstrated ability to manage varied projects.
* Strong data analytics knowledge with ability to identify and report trends.
* Computing skills with specific knowledge of CRM software, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
