We're looking for a qualified and motivated Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter (Fitter-Machinist) to join our growing team. What you'll do
You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our production areas by:
* Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs to ensure maximum uptime and safety.
* Supporting preventative and routine maintenance programs across our sites.
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs using sound troubleshooting techniques.
* Collaborating closely with operations teams and management to support production efficiency.
* Contributing to continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis on failures.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
* Assisting with spare parts management and inventory tracking.
Shifts & Roster
This is a full-time position that involves:
* Shifts across day, afternoon, and night
* Regular weekend work, on a rotating roster or as required for maintenance coverage
* Overtime opportunities available during peak operational periods or breakdown events
We're looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to plant needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What We're Looking For
You'll need to have:
* A relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter / Fitter-Machinist)
* A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Bonus points if you also bring:
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Background in industrial equipment maintenance
* Welding and fabrication skills (TIG, MIG, Stick) – or the willingness to learn
* Basic computer literacy or a willingness to learn digital systems
