Sunbury is a brand current centre opened in April.
We are currently seeking passionate Diploma / Cert III Qualified Educators (Permanent & Casual) to join the team and help children shine bright like a star in the sky!
We wish to hear from interested passionate educators who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Role requires the implementation of the educational program and practice whilst achieving quality learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement the educational program and practice while achieving quality learning outcomes.
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc.) to enhance individual children’s abilities.
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with children, families and other team members.
- Keep records of children's progression, routines and interests.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
- 1-2 years’ experience working within an early childhood setting (preferred)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Demonstrated understanding of
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Child Protection & Safe Standards Training
- Workplace Health & Safety issues
- The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children
- Ability to work and contribute to a team environment
