As the Community Engagement Officer, you will play a key role indelivering high quality, strategic engagement initiatives thatsupport the City's priority projects and strengthenrelationships with our community. You will design, deliver andevaluate engagement campaigns while working collaboratively withteams across the organisation to ensure consistent, proactive, andgenuine communications. At its core, this role is focussed ondeveloping strong partnerships with community members,stakeholders, and internal teams to help shape activities thatenhance public participation in City projects, foster collaborationand trust, and empower community members to have a voice indecisions that shape their lives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
* IAP2 Certificate of Engagement (desirable).
* Current unrestricted "C" class nationaldriver's licence.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in community engagementacross major/complex community projects.
* Proven communications experience across multiplechannels.
