About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).

The The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology (ICT); and People and Culture.

About The Role
The Recruitment Officer position sits within in the People and Culture Service Area. People and Culture is responsible for the provision of human resource services, including payroll, work health and safety, employee and industrial relations, HR business partnership and recruitment, and HR operations. The recruitment team is responsible for provision of recruitment services to the CEO, schools and ELCS to enable the delivery of education.

Key Responsibilities Include

* Perform recruitment functions, including advertising vacancies, notifying recruitment outcomes, and providing advice
* Be responsible for managing a recruitment caseload, which includes the provision of care to candidates, seeking information from nominated referees, and dealing with external providers
* Work across multiple platforms, applications, and databases to support recruitment processes
* Interpret and apply employment legislation, industrial instruments and policy

Qualifications And Eligibility

* Relevant qualifications or experience working in a complex human resources environment
* ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Drivers Licence.
