Our client is a global logistics organisation seeking a detail-focused, analytical individual to join their transport customer service team. This role sits within a call centre–style environment and focuses on reviewing, analysing and reporting on operational data to support service performance.
The role works closely with the transport and customer service operations teams, you will be responsible for reviewing data across multiple systems and reporting on key performance indicators, including transport movements, issue resolution and discrepancies.
The role is hands-on and analytical, with a strong focus on accuracy, trends and exceptions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and analysing transport and operational data from various systems
* Monitoring KPIs relating to movements, service levels and issue resolution
* Identifying discrepancies, variances and data gaps
* Producing Excel-based reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
* Supporting the transport team with ad-hoc analysis as required
About you
This role will suit someone with strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in data and performance analysis. Experience within logistics, transport or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
You will ideally have:
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
* Previous experience in an analyst, reporting or data-focused role
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, call centre or operations environment
* An understanding of logistics or transport operations (advantageous)
