A bit about your role
As a Customer Field Technician based in Brisbane North, you will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. You’ll work in various environments, both internal and external, primarily inside the customer’s premises.
Your typical day may include any or all of the following functions while delivering exceptional customer service:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre), including jointing, jumpering, and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
* This role operates between 7 am and 7 pm based on business needs, with a flexible working environment encouraged.
A bit about you
We’re seeking both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.
Since a large part of this role involves working at customers’ premises, exceptional customer service skills, honesty, integrity, self-management, and motivation are essential.
You must also have a current, clean Driver’s License and strong, personable communication skills, both written and verbal.
