ABOUT THE ROLE:
The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for managing, growing, and optimising our key national customers and partners, Endeavour Group and Coles Liquor Group, national independent partners as well as supporting strategic wholesale customers across Australia.
Based onsite at our Gold Coast brewery, the NAM plays a critical role in strengthening commercial partnerships, expanding national distribution, delivering sales growth, and ensuring our brand is positioned strongly and consistently across all major national channels.
This role is highly relationship-driven and strategic. You will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Trade Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, and the Sales Team to execute national plans, manage promotional programs, and drive customer engagement.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* National Account Management
* Manage and grow key national customers and other national retail & wholesale partners.
* Develop tailored annual joint-business plans (JBPs) with each national customer.
* Conduct range reviews, present new product opportunities, and negotiate promotional programs.
* Maintain strong, regular communication with national buyers, trade partners, and commercial decision-makers.
Sales Strategy & Execution
* Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with company revenue and growth objectives.
* Identify growth opportunities across retail, wholesale, and emerging national customers.
* Negotiate trading terms, pricing, promotional plans, and commercial agreements.
* Monitor stock forecasts and work with production and supply chain to ensure continuity of supply.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with the Head of Sales to set national priorities and performance targets.
* Partner with Trade Marketing on shopper marketing, brand activations, and retail promotions.
* Collaborate with State Sales Teams to ensure national programs land effectively in-store and in-venue.
* Provide clear communication and visibility cross-functionally on national opportunities and commitments.
Insights, Reporting & Analysis
* Monitor performance data, market share, pricing, and competitor activity across national channels.
* Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on national account performance.
* Use data-driven insights to refine channel strategy and customer plans.
* Evaluate promotional ROI and recommend improvements.
Commercial & Operational Management
* Manage promotional and customer budgets in line with company goals.
* Ensure accurate forecasting, order management, and demand planning.
* Conduct national account business reviews, addressing opportunities, risks, and future plans.
* Represent the brewery at national industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* 5+ years in National or Key Account Management within entrepreneurial business model (beverage/beer/craft beer preferred).
* Experience managing major accounts such as national retailers, buying groups, or national independent groups.
* Proven sales and negotiation capability with a track record of delivering growth.
* Strong understanding of national retail and wholesale landscapes (EDG, CLG, IBA, banner groups, wholesalers).
* Commercially analytical with the ability to interpret sales data, P&Ls, and category insights.
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and long-term planning cycles.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
* Willingness to travel interstate as required.
