Job Title: Out of Home Care Coordinator
Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow our Out of Home Care (OOHC) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the OOHC program for seamless coordination and execution
* Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to achieve program objectives
* Engage with Aboriginal community members to discuss outcomes and address barriers
* Policies, procedures, and communication protocols tailored to program needs
* Comprehensive financial and program reports for senior management and stakeholders
* Critical incident response, staff debriefing, and clinical supervision for the team
* Recruitment of Kinship and Foster Carers through targeted strategies
* Growth of the OOHC program through new avenues provided by government initiatives
Essential Criteria:
* At least 5 years experience in the Out of Home Care sector
* Previous Coordinator/Management experience
* Deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and government policies' impacts on Aboriginal people
* Collaboration with government agencies and Aboriginal organizations
* Experience coordinating social services programs within timeframes and budget
* Excellent communication skills for working sensitively with communities, families, children, and young people
