Description
Reporting to the General Manager - Finance, the Senior Finance Labour Analytics Manager is accountable for providing strategic labour insights across the organisation using advanced analytics, financial modelling and emerging AI tools. You will lead the design and continuous improvement of sophisticated labour cost models, identify and mitigate labour cost leakage, and influence sustainable productivity improvements across a large and complex operational environment.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders and senior leaders, translating complex workforce and payroll data into compelling insights that support budgeting, forecasting, long‐range planning, investment decisions and benefits realisation.
This role is a trusted advisor to Finance, Commercial and Operations leaders and operates as a recognised subject matter expert in labour cost analytics and governance.
* Provide strategic labour cost insights that materially influence financial performance and commercial outcomes
* Design, govern and continuously improve advanced labour cost and productivity models, including AI‐enabled methodologies
* Identify, quantify and mitigate labour cost leakage, inefficiencies and financial risk
* Translate complex analytics into clear, credible insights for senior executives and governance forums
* Influence labour cost strategy, productivity assumptions and labour governance frameworks
* Support budgeting, forecasting, long‐range planning, business cases and benefits realisation
* Develop executive‐level dashboards, metrics and reporting frameworks
* Act as a trusted advisor on the appropriate and responsible use of AI tools in labour analytics
* Build strong cross‐functional relationships with Payroll, People & Culture, Operations and Technology
* Support audit, assurance and financial control requirements relating to labour data
Profile
You are a commercially astute finance leader with deep experience in labour analytics, financial modelling and workforce cost optimisation. You bring credibility at executive level, confidence challenging assumptions and a strong drive to improve how organisations understand and manage labour costs.
Mandatory requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting
* CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
* Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis
* Proven experience preparing and interpreting complex financial information

* Advanced data analytics and modelling capability
* Experience using AI tools to enhance financial insight
* Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non‐technical stakeholders
* Strong influencing, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
