Job Description
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Utility (Housekeeping), to join our small but high performing site services team.
Regis utilises an Owner/Operator model for our village services, meaning you would be employed directly by Regis - not a village services provider.
This is a permanent site-based role, on a 2:1 FIFO roster reporting to the Village Supervisor.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
* Maintain quality and hygiene standards
* Cleaning of village accommodation, ablution blocks and other associated areas
* Ensure quality of cleaning to statutory hygiene standards
* Operate within laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linen
* Understanding of waste disposal and recycling practices
* Safe handling of chemicals, as per the MSDS
About you
To be successful for this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience working in a remote village environment
* Ability to manage repetitive and physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
* Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts
* A solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
* Capability to work cooperatively with peers and management
