About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to be based out our Toowoomba Workshop, who will plan and execute the daily work activities of electrical staff throughout sites within Southeast Queensland. Main Responsibilities
* Organise and structure workload for staff ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Maintain safety and compliance of electrical systems under the ASNZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules, Qld Electrical Safety Act 2002:2017, Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, Qld Mining Act and the Mining & Quarrying Safety & Health Regulation 2017
* Liaise with external power providers for applications and compliance
* Lead development and implementation of projects, managing budgets and forecasts
* Team management including rostering, employee reviews, training, supporting apprentices
* Compile quotes and tenders for both internal and external customers
* Implement and maintain a high level of safety culture within the team
Skills And Experience
* Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade (Electrical)
* Electrical Contractors Licence or ability to obtain this
* 5+ years post trade experience
* Previous Supervisory experience
* Current CPR / LVR
* Construction Industry Blue or White Card
* Advanced knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS regulations and practices
