Our Client **Langroves Pty Ltd t/a Son of a Gun** is looking to employ **PASTRYCOOKS / **in multiple positions for the venue in Hamilton, NSW.
**You will be required to do the following duties**:
- Mixing, preparing, weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of goods.
- Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings, etc., ensures the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
- Glazing buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget for management.
- Contributing ideas to the menu & have involvement in seasonal pastry menu development.
- Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements.
- Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Keeping accurate records.
- Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work even environment.
- Plan & prepare the production and schedule.
**To be considered for this role, you should**:
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
- Qualified Pastrycook with 2-3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills.
**How to join the team**
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
