About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Transport Advisory team as an Associate Director. In this role, you will leverage your leadership skills and experience to drive business growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead bids and projects with minimal supervision
* Assist with forecasting, project budgeting, and financial management
* Strengthen existing client relationships and introduce new clients to the organization
* Nurture and develop individual staff members through effective coaching and mentoring
* Provide technical transport planning input to multidisciplinary bids and projects
* Lead the production of outstanding written deliverables and associated technical analysis
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A self-starter mentality and ability to work productively on your own initiative
* Demonstrated experience in land use and transport planning projects, including private or public sector-led masterplans
* A well-developed understanding of transport economic appraisal and transport modelling in an NSW business case context
* Experience and expertise in active transport, including strategy and design
* Some experience in transport engineering and development-related transport impact assessments
* Advanced writing skills and a track record of producing detailed, compelling transport planning reports
* A passion for sustainable transport and propensity for critical thinking
* A track record of successful business development and client relationship management
* Tertiary qualifications in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related discipline
* Ideal spatial analysis skills and experience
