Project Manager – Embedded Networks
Compensation: $150,000-$185,000 base + Equity

The Role
The Project Manager will oversee the design, conversion, and delivery of embedded networks, integrating solar PV, BESS, and metering systems across brownfield and greenfield projects.
You'll work closely with developers, contractors, and engineering teams to scope, design, and manage complex electrical projects from feasibility to commissioning.
This role suits a hands-on project manager who understands both the technical and operational intricacies of embedded networks and thrives in the field as much as in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Lead embedded network conversions (brownfield) and integrations (greenfield) including MSB upgrades, metering design, and solar/BESS connection.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
Conduct site assessments and oversee overnight conversion works when required.
Coordinate internal design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure compliance and quality.
Liaise with developers, contractors, and DNSPs to deliver compliant, cost-effective outcomes.
Ensure all projects meet AS/NZS ****, EN regulatory standards, and internal QA/SHEQ processes.
Contribute to continual improvement of safety, design, and delivery frameworks.
About You
Electrical Engineer or Licensed Electrician with strong embedded network experience (essential).
Proven background in commercial solar and BESS project management.
Hands-on and field-capable—comfortable leading site conversions and coordinating trades.
Strong communicator who can liaise confidently with developers, contractors, and internal teams.
Open to travel across the East Coast and occasional overnight conversion shifts.
Highly organised, commercially minded, and motivated by delivering projects that scale renewable impact.
