Are you a skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to work on ongoing projects based in Cairns region and work from home from Cairns. Look no further! We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team.
Skills & Attributes
Current driving licence
Certificate in Laboratory Techniques, or relevant chemistry related science qualification
At least one year laboratory technician experience
Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical hazards or ability to acquire
Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Concrete experience is desirable
Full Australian working rights
Key Duties
Work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, away)
Enter and process analytical data with the Laboratory Information Management System
Regular retention and disposal of completed laboratory samples and test solutions
Ensure quality of results as per NATA requirements, including maintenance and calibration of equipment
Capable of following general protected practices in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Act
