Overnight Hotel Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Overnight Hotel Operations Manager to join our Front Office team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing overnight operations, including auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions.
About the Role
This is a critical role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording of reservation details, preparing departure paperwork, and maintaining property safety and security.
Key Responsibilities
* Auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions, ensuring accounts are accurate and compliant with policies.
* Supporting the Front Office team and other departments as needed.
* Maintaining accurate records of reservation details, including room rates, stay dates, and charging authority.
* Preparing departure paperwork, including credit card and company charges, for the accounts department.
* Maintaining property safety, security, and efficient overnight hotel operations.
* Preparing and distributing relevant reports; maintaining weekly and monthly hotel statistics.
* Processing management accounts as required.
Requirements
* Experience with Opera or similar Property Management System (PMS) software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with high grooming standards.
* Proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Strong financial, analytical, and computer literacy skills.
* Knowledge of security and emergency procedures; capable of assisting in these areas.
