We’re looking for a Trading Representative / Account Manager with a talent for negotiation and building lasting relationships. You will be responsible for sourcing scrap metal from suppliers in Regional Queensland, playing a vital role in our mission to lead the recycling industry.

What You’ll Do
* Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure used ferrous and non‑ferrous scrap metal
* Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive procurement within company guidelines
* Monitor key performance metrics and collaborate with Operations and Transport teams for smooth logistics
* Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and maintaining positive partnerships
* Complete accurate monthly reports and manage costs in line with budgets
Who We’re Looking For
You are the ideal candidate if you bring a mix of people experience, skill, and drive. We’re looking for someone who has:
* 5+ years in Account Management, Sales, or Buying roles
* Strong negotiation and deal‑closing skills
* Proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels
* Analytical mindset for spotting market opportunities
* Experience in recycling, waste management, or scrap metal is highly regarded but not essential
