THE PRACTICE
* Newly fitted-out GP practice in a busy shopping centre
* Working hours are based on 8 am - 4.30 pm week days, this is very flexible
* Patient & staff parking is available
* Choose your appointment times, you have full clinical independence
THE OPPORTUNITY
* You'll be supported with full nursing coverage
* Allied Health support is available
* Occupational Health, Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women's health, and chronic disease management GP sub-specialties are in demand
* You will earn $150/ hour, or 65-70% of billings, whichever is higher
* Likely earnings $250,000-$490,000 before tax each year
* Strong Filipino community in this town
DUTIES
* Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
* Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
* Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
* Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
* Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
* Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
LOCATION
DPA/MM6, Port Hedland, is a busy coastal mining town 25000, with a significant shortage of General Practitioners. Moratorium reduced to 4 years only. Visa sponsors, will support permanent residency.

This role will suit a General Practitioner who holds FRACGP, FACRRM, or a comparable specialist pathway qualification
