The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) is establishing a talent pool of experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) professionals to help deliver a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
As an HR Consultant – WHS, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of our integrated health and safety management system. This includes providing expert advice on WHS legislation, policies, and practices, and partnering with leaders and stakeholders to embed effective safety strategies across the organisation.
Your work will focus on driving improvements in WHS systems, training, and compliance; supporting workplace inspections, audits, and hazard management; developing tools, templates, and resources to strengthen WHS capability; and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a proactive safety culture.
