Chef Manager Role
Bupa Tamworth care home seeks an experienced Chef Manager to lead its high-functioning kitchen and catering service. The successful candidate will work with a team of Catering assistants to provide quality, well-presented meals that meet resident preferences and needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing food purchasing, storage, handling, and preparation
* Ensuring infection control principles are followed
* Collaborating with the Lifestyle team to plan activities and events
* Preparing main dishes for lunch and dinner
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, aged care/hotel/restaurant experience, effective time management, organizational skills, and leadership experience. Previous experience and understanding of food safety are desirable.
