As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) involves supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.

We are currently looking to fill 1 permanent part time position. You must be available for the following:

• Week 1
  • Friday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)
  • Saturday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)
  • Sunday 12am to 10am (Active Overnight)
• Week 2
  • Tuesday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)
  • Friday 6am to 3pm

Please Note: It is significant to understand that our clients' needs, and their support plans can change which also means that our roster lines may change and will be confirmed at the time of offer.

• Support 4 clients, 3 males and 1 female who display high behaviours
• Assist with personal care tasks (e.g. bathing, dressing) and manual handling
• Implement person-centred active support and follow behaviour support plans
• Log daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated support

• An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
