Aquaculture Technician / Farm Hand
Casual position with potential for full time for the right candidate.
About Us
Aquatic culture is a freshwater fish farm located in Innisfail in north Queensland, an idyllic tropical location & the gateway to the rainforest & the reef.
As a Casual Fish Farm Hand / Aquaculture Technician you will be involved with a diverse range of daily operational tasks within the farm :
- Fish feeding, cleaning & general husbandry
- Spawning & larval rearing
- Collection & packing of fish for orders
- Farm maintenance
About the Job
- Position : Casual Fish farm Hand / Aquaculture Technician
- Hours : Starting at three days per week
- Starting Hourly Rate - Above Award Rate
Essential criteria
- Valid QLD driver’s license & access to reliable transport
- Must have a work visa or Australian Citizen
- Those with genuine interest / Experience in Aquariums & Aquaculture encouraged to apply. Full training provided for entry level candidates.
- Live local to Innisfail Qld or willing to relocate (temporary shared accommodation may be available to suitable candidates)
