Senior IP Network Solution Architect
This role involves acting as a trusted advisor partnering with customers on their needs, understanding and capturing the critical inputs of stakeholders, and translating them into effective requirements and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive IP architecture and solution descriptions for offer submissions, ensuring integration with end-to-end solutions.
* Analyze system requirements to design effective physical and logical solution architectures tailored to customer needs.
* Identify key technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Collaborate closely with account management and customer solutions architects to capture and fulfill customer requirements.
* Conduct thorough requirements analysis and maintain traceability across system components and elements.
* Oversee technical delivery and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and acceptance criteria.
* Review and assess technical progress of third-party suppliers, ensuring adherence to scope and technical specifications.
Requirements
* Masters in Engineering or 8-10 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP and packet core technologies.
* Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent certification is a plus.
* Knowledgeable on virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
* Knowledgeable on E2E mobile solutions, mobile & packet core concepts and related technologies.
* Knowledgeable on scripting and mastering programming languages and techniques.
* Knowledgeable on network management systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
Nice to Have
* Experience on transport, energy, government/public sector networks and solutions a bonus - this includes rail, air, power, mining and PLTE solutions as well as connected smart cities.
* Experience in selling and delivering datacenter/carrier network and solutions.
* Detailed understanding of 3GPP interfaces, IP/MPLS concepts and related technologies.
* Strong Linux/Unix shell and datacenter networking knowledge.
