Based at our Crestmead corporate office, we deliver high-quality solutions across cleaning, infrastructure maintenance, environmental services, asset and mechanical management, and project coordination.


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day finance operations, with a strong focus on accounts payable, while also assisting across accounts receivable, reconciliations, general ledger tasks, payroll, and financial reporting.

This position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to grow within a nationally expanding organisation.


Key Responsibilities

* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
* Process high-volume supplier, contractor, and client invoices accurately and efficiently
* Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure timely processing
* Perform accurate GST coding and classification for AP and AR transactions
* Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
* Prepare invoices, statements, and payment runs
* Support payroll processing and data entry
* Assist with month-end tasks and financial reporting
* Respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner
* Provide general administrative and finance support as required
* Confident use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Identify and implement process and policy improvements


Key Requirements

* Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus
