 
        
        Commercial Leadership Role
This key position plays a vital part in driving business growth through commercial excellence.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee financial modelling and analysis, and ensure seamless handovers from new business to operational teams. Key responsibilities include:
 * Supporting the development of commercial strategies and related planning processes.
 * Influencing and developing the broader commercial team to deliver business growth objectives.
 * Overseeing financial modelling, analysis, and rate proposals to ensure accuracy and alignment.
 * Building and maintaining standard pricing models and tools to support efficient customer engagement.
 * Establishing clear commercial handover protocols and contractual documentation to support a smooth transition to operations.
 * Providing commercial support for tender responses, contract negotiations, and customer meetings.
 * Monitoring competitor contract renewal status to identify opportunities 12–18 months in advance.
 * Building and maintaining strong working relationships across the organisation, customers, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and experienced in the supply chain, logistics, or transport sector. With strong leadership capability, you can inspire and develop a team while working closely with business development and operational stakeholders. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (CA/CPA desirable). A minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain operations is required, with a proven track record of achievement. Strong skills in budgeting, KPI performance review, reporting, and commercial modelling are essential. Experience preparing CAM models, business cases, and board papers for approval is also highly desirable.
