BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
* Minimum of 8 years of relevant job‐related experience
o OR Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant job‐related experience
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader within a cross‐functional engineering team, responsible for hardware design activities from requirements analysis through schematic capture, layout coordination, manufacturing support, and integration and test. This role supports the development of complex, high‐reliability electronic systems for defense applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO ANTICIPATE
* Lead hardware design efforts from requirements analysis through schematic capture and release
* Define and manage layout constraints and support PWB layout activities
* Support manufacturing, bring‐up, integration, and test of circuit card assemblies
* Perform and review high‐speed digital and mixed‐signal circuit designs
* Support design reviews, technical trade studies, and lifecycle documentation
* Collaborate with systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less‐experienced engineers
* Support EMC/EMI considerations throughout the design lifecycle
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience with high‐speed circuit card design incorporating embedded processors and/or FPGAs
* Experience with advanced memory devices and storage protocols
* Experience designing for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
* Expert‐level understanding of hardware development processes across the full program lifecycle
* Experience with circuit card design using advanced materials and packaging techniques
* Working knowledge of Mentor Graphics tool suite, including:
o Schematic Entry
o Constraint Manager
o HyperLynx SI/PI analysis
* Proven ability to lead design efforts on complex hardware programs
* Strong communication skills with the ability to drive technical decisions and gain stakeholder alignment
