**Aussie Life Care - Disability Support Worker**
Aussie Life Care is seeking workers for short, casual work opportunities. The staff's main duty is to support individuals with disabilities in a group setting, including tasks such as manual handling, community access, transportation, personal care, and companionship. The goal of the organization is to enhance the independence and functional skills of participants for their best quality of life. ALC is seeking passionate and enthusiastic support workers who have a person-centered approach, are flexible in terms of work schedule, and are eager to make a difference in people's lives. As a Disability Support Worker with ALC, you will play a crucial role in providing quality services, promoting opportunities for meaningful participation, and actively promoting inclusion in society. Your daily tasks may include assisting with transportation, managing medication, building on individual strengths, and supporting community participation and group center activities.
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement that you have:
- A relevant qualification in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support will be an added advantage.
- Victorian Working with Children's Check
- Must be willing to provide or obtain a NDIS worker screening check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
