About The Role
Join Cater Care as a Casual Catering Assistant at Keyton - Highvale Retirement Village in Glen Waverley.
Enjoy flexible hours while supporting the kitchen team with meal prep and service. You'll help deliver quality meals and create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents - making a real difference every day.
What This Role Involves
* Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Providing excellent customer service by serving residents' meals and snacks
* Re-stocking supplies as needed, including after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
* Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* Contract catering experience (desirable)
* The ability to work effectively within a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Willingness to undergo a Police Check
