We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative who is driven to succeed in a team environment to represent Ariat in a territory spanning from Orange to the Victorian and South Australian borders.
The successful candidate will be a go-getter who is motivated, organised, and proactive, with strong communication skills to build relationships with existing customers and drive new sales opportunities.
The lowdown:
Ariat is an industry leader and you will love selling our high-quality apparel, footwear and more. You will use your drive and influencing skills to maintain and grow revenue through the effective assessment of customer needs by effectively identifying customer needs across both our well-established and new product ranges.
You will love hitting the road in your company-maintained vehicle – there’s a significant amount of travel to service our network of equine retailers, consumers, and attending trade shows is a necessity for the role. We operate on a six-cycle seasonal calendar, with a typical quarter involving 4–6 weeks of travel. Non-travel time is focused on planning, follow-up, documentation, and developing strategies for your customer base.
Preference will be given to the candidates who possess the following:
1. A successful relationship builder with demonstrated ability to achieve significant sales targets
2. 2+ year’s previous sales experience
3. Rural and / or equestrian industry experience and, or interest preferred but not essential
4. 3+ years of Retail experience in the industry
5. An eye for fashion and trends

This is a full-time position, in a friendly, professional working environment (but you’ll be on the road most of the time). Requiring a high level of ownership and self-drive.
