About Us
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits in our NSW workers compensation reform team. The team works with other agencies and stakeholders to develop and implement changes to scheme design, incorporating all aspects of public policy development in a regulatory environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Research and analyse complex scheme design issues, identify emerging risks, and recommend evidence-based solutions
* Provide expert advice to stakeholders to support the interpretation and implementation of policy initiatives
* Build and maintain relationships to engage stakeholders in developing regulatory design instruments and guidelines
* Monitor and evaluate policy and reform implementation to ensure alignment with desired outcomes
* Mentor and support team members to meet governance and quality standards in delivering policy priorities
* Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and correspondence to support agency and government decision-makingCoordinate communications, HR, and procurement activities within the branch to ensure effective operations
