This is bigger than dentistry. It's about changing how people feel when they walk through our doors.
About Us
At Mulgrave Dental Group, we're a values-driven practice that puts the patient experience at the heart of everything we do. Our team is built on six core values: Compassion, Positive Attitude, Passion for Patient Experience, Professionalism, Integrity, and Accountability.
We don't just treat teeth — we create an environment where patients feel genuinely cared for, and our team feels genuinely supported.
About the Role
We're looking for a Dental Assistant who sees this role as more than chairside support. You'll be a key part of delivering an exceptional patient experience from the moment someone walks in to the moment they leave.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting chairside across a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials with precision and attention to detail
• Providing compassionate post-operative instructions and patient education
• Maintaining impeccable sterilisation and infection control standards
• Supporting the smooth flow of daily operations and patient scheduling
• Being a welcoming, reassuring presence for every patient
About You
You're the kind of person who leads with care and holds yourself to a high standard. You don't just show up — you lift the room. Specifically:
• You bring genuine compassion to every patient interaction — because the person in the chair is someone's parent, child, or partner
• You carry a positive attitude that's felt by everyone around you, even on the busiest days
• You're passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience at every touchpoint
• You take pride in your professionalism — in how you work, present yourself, and deliver care
• You act with integrity, doing the right thing even when no one is watching
• You're accountable — when you say you'll do something, you follow through
Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent). Current first aid and CPR certification. A current police check (or willingness to obtain one).
Experience: Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but not essential for the right person. If you align with our values and are eager to grow, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer
• A supportive, values-driven team that genuinely enjoys working together
• Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities
• A modern, well-equipped practice with the latest dental technology
• A culture where your voice matters and your contributions are recognised
• Competitive remuneration and benefits
