Your New Role
Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead maintenance operations on an 8/6 DIDO roster from Townsville or FIFO for the right candidate. Responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to: Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will oversee a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical maintenance across all processing areas.
* Provide hands-on leadership and supervision of all electrical maintenance activities across the Processing Plant, Crushing Circuit, and associated surface infrastructure.
* Champion safe work practices by ensuring all electrical tasks meet legislative, regulatory, and site safety requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electricians and apprentices, fostering high performance and accountability.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor (mining or heavy industry preferred)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Proven ability to work safely and efficiently within a team
* Relevant trade qualification and certifications
