Overview
Flight Centre is recruiting Sales Travel Consultants for our retail stores in Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
The role is full-time and involves a rotating 7-day trade schedule.
Responsibilities
Plan itineraries, book travel, and convert enquiries into bookings in person, by phone, and via e-mail.
Achieve individual KPIs and sales targets by selling the complete holiday package, including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
Build a customer base of new and returning clients with domestic and international holidays.
Provide expert travel advice on visas, timing, packing, dining, and destination recommendations.
Operate complex booking systems proficiently and manage multiple customer inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
Excellent organisational and calendar management skills.
Passionate about travel and committed to helping customers discover new destinations.
Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and warm demeanor that encourages repeat bookings.
Computer savviness and adaptability to use multiple booking platforms.
