Join our Melbourne Depot as an Allocator – PUD Planning & Operations, where you'll play a key role in planning, allocating and coordinating local pick‑up and delivery work. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this hybrid role blends hands‑on operational support with daily planning and allocation. We're ready to invest in training to set the right candidate up for success.


What You Bring

* Supervisory Experience – Proven ability to lead and support teams in a fast‑paced operational environment.
* Planning & Allocation Capability – Strong skills in planning, sequencing, and allocating local PUD work efficiently.
* Problem‑Solving Mindset – Quick thinking and confident decision‑making when plans change.
* Resilience & Adaptability – Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines under pressure.
* Excellent Communication – Clear, professional communication with drivers, warehouse teams and stakeholders.
* Industry Knowledge (Preferred) – Transport or logistics experience is an advantage.
* BFM Accreditation or Willingness to Obtain – Knowledge of NHVR and fatigue requirements is beneficial.


What You'll Do

* PUD Planning & Allocation – Plan, allocate and optimise daily local pick‑up and delivery runs.
* Freight & Logistics Coordination – Monitor progress and adjust plans to keep freight moving on time.
* Warehouse & Team Leadership – Support day‑to‑day operations and liaise with forklift drivers and warehouse teams.
* Compliance & Safety – Ensure NHVR regulations, fatigue management and safety standards are met.
* Load Planning & Scheduling – Build efficient loads and delivery sequences to maximise fleet utilisation.
* Resource Management – Allocate drivers, vehicles and equipment to meet operational demands.
* Process Enforcement – Maintain high standards across planning, allocation and operational procedures.
