We are seeking a Technical Process Specialist to work on water, wastewater, desalination and dewatering schemes, delivering process engineering solutions ranging from concept design through to detailed design for construction.

About The Role You will be the technical lead for the Australian process engineering team and manage process design requirements for our multi-disciplinary project delivery team, including supporting and mentoring junior engineers, to achieve the following:
Developing process solutions to solve our clients’ challenges
Produce clear and concise engineering deliverables appropriate for the intended audience including P&ID’s, equipment sizing calculations, enquiry documentation, datasheets, schedules and reports (including control philosophies)
Serve as a technical lead performing process engineering calculations, checking and reviewing work developed by others as well as sharing knowledge and expertise
Comply with in-house procedural & quality systems
Manage design interfaces with other disciplines and integration of the process design elements into the overall design
Work closely with project teams, other engineering disciplines, project managers, estimators, site and commissioning teams, CAD and clients
About You The role is suitable for technically strong, commercially aware candidates with a background in process engineering in the water and wastewater industry or closely related industries. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
Degree qualified in Process Engineering, with substantial experience in the water sector. RPEQ eligibility is preferred
Proven experience in projects in the water/wastewater industry
Strong technical proficiency in process engineering principles and software applications
Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
Effective communication style and ability to work in an energetic and diverse team
