Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is a leading regional hospital in South Australia, offering 58 beds, including flex and monitored beds, and a broad range of services such as emergency care, general and surgical services, maternity, outpatient clinics, and outreach programs. We are proud to provide chemotherapy services, along with a Renal Dialysis Unit and a Paediatric Department - both the largest outside of Adelaide - ensuring advanced care close to home for our community. Living and Working in the Flinders and Upper North Region - Port Augusta

About the Role:

As a Dietitian, you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive and integrated nutrition services tailored to the needs of the local community. Working as part of a multi‐professional team, you will utilise preventative, early intervention, treatment and evaluation approaches to support positive health outcomes. At the AHP1 level, you will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Dietitian, developing your clinical skills and experience. At the AHP2 level, you will apply your clinical expertise and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate services with greater autonomy, and may contribute to the supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants and students. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across sectors while strengthening community‐focused nutrition care.

* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Dietetics profession and be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
* Deliver a broad range of clinical services using established methods, procedures and standards.
* Exercise professional judgement within defined practice areas, with support from a Clinical Senior.
* Provide one‐on‐one, group and health promotion activities.
* Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.
AHP2
* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Dietetics Profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
* Apply professional expertise in increasingly complex practice settings.
* Use professional judgement to adapt established methods and techniques.
* Deliver clinical and consultative services, including individual and group work.
* Manage personal workload and support team resource planning.
