Bottle-O, Narara is looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast‐paced retail setting. You will be passionate about building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers discover something new, whether it's a boutique wine, a local craft beer, or a premium spirit. The position will be 10‐15 hours per week and require flexibility around different shifts.
In this Role
* Greeting customers warmly, answering product‐related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
* Operating the point‐of‐sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions
* Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves
* Keeping the store clean, organised, and visually appealing
* Ensuring all sales are conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations
You're Likely a Match If
* Valid RSA Certificate
* Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience is ideal
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Flexibility for different shifts
* Team player who will contribute to a friendly working environment!
