About the role
As a Lead Educator at Kin Early Education Pty Ltd in Yarra Glen / Healesville, VIC, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for the children in our care. This full-time position is a key part of our team, responsible for leading and mentoring other educators while delivering exceptional early childhood education and care.
What you'll be doing
1. Developing and implementing engaging educational programs that foster the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children
2. Providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing and learning of all children
3. Mentoring and guiding other educators, supporting their professional growth and development
4. Collaborating with families to understand the unique needs of each child and ensure continuity of care
5. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
6. Actively participating in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
2. Significant experience as an Educator, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality early learning programs
3. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team of Educators
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
5. A deep understanding of early childhood development and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds
6. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
