Job Title
A highly skilled Lead Solutions Consultant is required to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity presales, consulting, or solution architecture, with a strong focus on leading technical pre-sales engagements and providing expert advice on cybersecurity solutions.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional to take on a senior role within our organization. As a Lead Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for leading solution strategy, technical sales, and architecture engagements across key accounts in the ANZ region. You will work closely with sales, partners, and customers to position cybersecurity solutions aligned to national standards, government frameworks, and sector-specific regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Technical Pre-Sales Engagements across strategic accounts in Government, Financial Services, Utilities, Critical Infrastructure, and Healthcare.
* Act as the regional trusted advisor across OpenText Cybersecurity domains: Identity, Access & Privileged Management, Data Privacy & Protection, Security Operations, Application Security.
* Map solutions to ANZ-specific compliance frameworks: APRA CPS 234 / CPG 234, SoCI Act (2021) & Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), ASD Essential Eight Maturity Model, Privacy Act & OAIC Guidance.
* Design and deliver demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), workshops, and technical briefings.
* Influence procurement and solution selection through compelling technical storytelling and outcomes-based architecture.
* Collaborate with partners, system integrators, and managed service providers across ANZ.
* Participate in knowledge-sharing within regional and global presales teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity presales, consulting, or solution architecture.
* Expertise in at least two cybersecurity domains (IAM, Data Protection, AppSec, SecOps), with preferences for Data Protection and AppSec.
* Demonstrated experience engaging with CISOs, Security Architects, Risk Officers, and Government stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations in ANZ, especially APRA CPS 234, SoCI Act & CIRMP, ISO 27001 / NIST CSF / ASD Essential 8.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel across ANZ as required (~15–25%).
* Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, Fortify Certified, ArcSight ASE, TOGAF, Azure/AWS security certs).
