Finance Advisor – EY Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
The opportunity
As our Finance Advisor you'll advise and support our client-serving engagement teams to make the best use of EY's SAP engagement management system and its processes, ensuring effective project management with EY's external clients.
This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working to promote a healthy work-life balance and is open to part-time applicants (minimum 4 days per week).
The position can be based in EY offices across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, or Wellington.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end opportunity and engagement lifecycle advice to client engagement teams.
Review open queries from client servers, prioritise follow-up activities and schedule engagement team meetings for the week.
Ensure engagement teams are properly prepared for client negotiations from a financial perspective.
Facilitate training for client-serving teams on EY's SAP engagement management system and effective financial management practices.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Two years' experience in a professional services environment in a financial/business capacity.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Strong analytical skills, effective communication and a logical approach to problem-solving.
In addition, the following skills are desirable but not essential:
Bachelor of Business or TAFE Diploma in Accounting (desirable but not essential).
Experience in engagement economics and financial metrics.
Management accounting experience desirable but not essential.
Highly effective virtual teaming and influencing skills.
